Freedom

Happy 4th of July!!

On this wonderful day of celebration, I am so happy that we live in a Free Country!! I am so blessed to be able to worship Christ in Freedom, without fear of being imprisoned. My heart goes out to those who are not as privileged as we are!! May God be near to them as they suffer for His sake! I thank the Lord that we can live victoriously in Christ and have freedom from our sins! Praise the Lord!! Below I have posted the words to a song that really ministers to my heart!! I am blessed to live here in America and am grateful for all our heroes who put their lives on the line that we may have Freedom and live in Peace. I thank my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ for laying His life down that I may live in Freedom from sin and at peace with Him!!

Glorious Freedom

Once I was bound in sin's galling fetters, chained like a slave, I struggled in vain. But I received a glorious freedom when Jesus broke my fetters in twain.

Freedom from all the carnal affections freedom from envy, hatred and strife; freedom from vain and worldly ambitions; freedom from all that saddened my life.

Freedom from pride and all sinful follies; freedom from love and glitter of gold; freedom from evil temper and anger-glorious freedom, rapture untold!

 Freedom from fear with all of it's torments; freedom from care with all of its pain; freedom in Christ, my blessed Redeemer, He who has rent my fetters in twain!
